Turin Tables: Small Dinners in English
I started Turin Tables to help English-speaking people in Turin meet over small dinners with people who share their interests.

I recently started Turin Tables, a project to help English-speaking people in Turin find people they click with over small dinners built around shared interests.
The idea is simple. You already make time for things you care about, perhaps bouldering, running, writing, yoga, or building a business. You would like to meet others who care about some of those things too, in a language you can comfortably converse in.
With Turin Tables, you tell us which interests you already pursue. Once six people share an interest, we start forming a dinner. The common ground gives the conversation somewhere to begin, and a small table gives people time to get to know each other.
Dinners happen on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., at restaurants near Porta Nuova station. Conversation is in English. Turin Tables charges no fee: you simply pay the restaurant for what you order, usually around €20 to €25 for dinner and a glass of wine.
My hope is that a few good dinners will make meaningful connections more likely.
If you live in Turin and this sounds like something you would enjoy, visit TurinTables.com and join a table.
