# My simple solution to fix politics using AI

A proposal - representatives write their voting criteria as a prompt on day one, then an AI votes on each law based on it.

My proposal is as follows:

Elected representatives' job remains unchanged, with one exception: they cannot vote on laws anymore. Instead, on the first day of their mandate, each representative writes a prompt specifying their priorities and how they want laws to be evaluated. Then, whenever a law is proposed, the proposal and the representative's prompt are fed to an AI, which outputs a vote consistent with that prompt.

The key is not that the AI can vote better or worse. It's that politicians would have to put in black and white, before knowing which specific laws they will be applied to, the criteria by which they want laws to be evaluated. And that voters get to see them.

_I'll get the popcorn._
